FULLY CNC'D HEAD ASSEMBLED WITH 10º LOCKS, TITANIUM RETAINERS & SPRIN
The PowerPort 270 heads rocker shaft and runner areas have been enhanced to increase strength, and the oil holes for the rocker shafts were relocated to improve oiling. To greatly reduce weight and increase strength, the heads are cast in premium grade A356-T61 aluminum. Other advantages of these heads include clearance for 3/8" pushrods, ductile iron valve seats, bronze alloy valve guides, and multi-angle valve seat machining performed on precision Serdi® equipment.
The PowerPort 270 heads feature larger, raised Max Wedge-style intake runners that provide a straighter path to the valve for improved airflow. The runners are treated to Trick Flow’s signature high resolution CNC Competition Ported surface finish that guarantees proper dimensional accuracy with balanced flow from runner-to-runner for maximum power potential.
Assembled cylinder heads come with premium 11/32" stainless steel valves,
Trick Flow by PAC Racing valve springs, chromoly and titanium retainer options, and 7° or 10° steel valve stem locks. Trick Flow designed the PowerPort 270 heads to use all factory-style big block Mopar pistons, roller rocker arms, and headers. A Max Wedge-style intake manifold is recommended for best performance.
