Hi-Performance short strand synthetic fiber with high rubber content allows for excellent flexibility and low flange pressure sealability. This material reduces fluid wicking compared to cellulose fiber materials. High compressive strength greatly reduces extrusion, shear and tensile strain and exhibits excellent bolt torque retention. Non-Stick designation has an easy release coating on both faces of the gasketing material reduces tearing for frequently removed items. With an above average intermittent temperature rating of 400̊F this is a very versatile material for many applications.
