Cam-Lobe-Oiling Mechanical Lifters
Hughes Engines Racing announces their new camshaft-oiling lifters with an EDM oil hole.
These special mechanical, flat-tappet lifters have an oil hole in the bottom of the lifter for a constant flow of cool, pressurized oil to the cam and lifter contact point. The positive supply of pressurized oil to the most highly-stressed area of the engine further insures longer cam/lifter life, even with higher valve spring pressures. This new design, when used in conjunction with their Extreme Pressure Oil Additive, brings superior lubrication to the lower valvetrain.
