11-5-10 Did a little chassis tuning and ran 10.904
still full weight
still on 93 octane
still just a 440 w/ rpm heads
W/ a 5 mph head wind, it still went -60' 1.510-1/8mile 6.884@99.08 -1/4mile 10.904@121
still think there's a little more in it, thanks alot you guys.... Bob
Update October 2010:
10-8-10, After 7 yrs, i never ran the car without the exhaust system, so i took it off
and ran 11.05 - 11.01 - 11.04 - & 11.06
the best being 1.57 60' 1/8 6.96 @ 98.34 1/4 11.01 @ 120.94...

Just wanted to say thanks for your help and parts, this will be the 6th year on the build with no problems at all! Not to mention, it's nice to drive to the track and back when i get the itch, beats getting the truck and trailer out.

1970 Dodge Challenger, 440 w/ M-1 intake, 850 holley, TTI headers, 3"exhaust and mufflers w/ H pipe, 727 w/ turboaction 10" converter, 8 3/4 rear w/ back brace welded on and, after market axles.
Runs on 91 octane, with a 3.23 gear 1/4 mile is 11.60s on drag radials, with the 4.10 gear 60' is 1.60, 1/8 mile is 7.10s and, 1/4 mile 11.20s.
Race weight is 3780# and all shifts are at a parts saving 6000 rpms.
